A Day In The Life Of: HOUSEHOLD SERVANT

He wakes up and drives over to my house, arriving at noon. My boyfriend and I are laying on the couch, watching a movie. The servant looks at what cleaning supplies and food we have, and if it's not enough, drives to the store and buys what we need with his own money. When he gets back, he goes to the kitchen and makes us lunch. While we're eating, he puts the dogs outside on their chains so they won't be in the way. He goes down to the basement and starts cleaning up after the dogs. He comes back upstairs, grabs the laundry, and gets it done. Next is the kitchen. He scrubs the floors, washes the dishes & puts them away, and wipes down the stove. Next is the living room, where we are still relaxing. He picks up the garbage, and rearranges the furniture so he can sweep and mop until the floors are spotless. He then wipes down the tables and the tv and washes the windows. He goes back downstairs and puts the clothes in the dryer. He comes back up to clean the bathroom. He scours everything until it is spotless. He goes upstairs to the attic and sweeps everything out. When the clothes are done, he puts them nicely on our bed. We don't need our room or our roommate's room touched. Before he leaves, he makes us dinner. We praise him on his good job, and he leaves.

This is just a normal day at our house when one of the servants come to clean. For those who have the money/material, we seek someone to fence in our backyard, someone to help turn our basement into a dungeon, someone to help renovate the attic into an office/entertainment room, someone to replace the bedroom door, someone to install an air conditioner, etc.

If you ask (and are skilled with cooking), we will provide you with recipes for what we would like for lunch and dinner. There are also times when we will have you run errands for us - grocery shopping, drop something off at the post office, etc.

If you are interested in being one of our household servants, please contact me.
